    About Me

Exquisite Corpse is an artist collective and gallery promoting contemporary art by emerging artists. Located in the Park Trades Center, we host monthly exhibitions including group, solo, and juried shows. Exquisite Corpse works to educate and enlighten our audience while providing Kalamazoo and others with a progressive art experience. As an emerging gallery run by emerging artists, we are interested in expanding our community's involvement with the arts. Part of that expansion involves building relationships with our community in order to understand how the arts can further contribute to a locally and globally engaged public. That relationship directly influences what subjects we discuss and choose to exhibit. As an artist collective, we are uniquely positioned to directly contribute to this discussion. Hailing from different backgrounds, we are four emerging artists working independently in a shared studio environment. Our common interest in making art and sharing it with others has provided the opportunity to work together and operate a gallery. We hope that you stop by and check us out.
